Weddings are Route One’s bag: it’s really as simple as that. Having played at countless wedding parties across the South West over the past 10 years, the five band members have amassed a huge range of experience, expertise and knowledge in what makes a wedding party exactly that - a party. From kicking off with the right songs to reading the room and knowing when to throw in the odd “slow dance” or two (or none!), Route One are experts in creating the night of your life.
Whether you or your guests love your golden oldies (from Chuck Berry to The Beatles), those modern, singalong anthems (Kings of Leon to Queen), 80s disco (Diana Ross), funk and soul (James Brown), catchy pop tunes (Bruno Mars) or classic rock (Bon Jovi), the band will create a setlist of songs perfect for your party - and then some.

SPREAD THE COST
Weddings can be expensive, it’s true. If you require a flexible payment plan, Route One are happy to oblige, receiving instalments in one lump sum, over a number of months or spread across a longer period - whatever’s best for you and your budget.
TOP END PA SYSTEM
It’s a big night for you, so rest assured there’ll be no muffled vocals or glitching lights; our PA system and lighting is of a premium, professional quality. It will sound and look crisp, clean, and impressive - all you’d expect from a professional wedding and party band.
HIGH-END MUSICIANS
The band have been brought together from some of the best wedding bands in Somerset and Devon, and have performed at hundreds of evening dos and parties in the past. Sleep easy knowing you’re getting a group of highly skilled, experienced musicians.
PLI & PAT
Great news! Route One are fully insured and our equipment has been PAT tested, ensuring a safe and secure performance at your wedding or event. You can rest easy knowing all precautions have been taken care of. Most venues will insist on this certification.
ON THE DAY
Hire Route One as your wedding band and we’ll arrive at 6 pm to set up before performing up until midnight. Between these times you’ll get two hours of live music from the band and complimentary DJ sets when we’re not performing. Prices start from £1099.
SIT BACK & RELAX
From liaising with your venue before arrival to choosing the perfect setlist for your party via setting up and packing down without even the slightest of fuss, the band are professionally managed and we'll take care of absolutely everything you need.
